THE CONSULTATION

The consultation is important. Although you’ve read all of the contraindications before booking and followed the steps before your procedure, we will need to evaluate your skin type, allergies, and any medical conditions. We’ll talk about your lifestyle, makeup, and eyebrow routine. We’ll discuss what your biggest struggle is and what you love about your brows now. And lastly, what style you would like them to look like after the procedure.

MAP & COLOR

After we learn your preferences, we’ll map out, draw, and measure your new brows using your facial features and bone structure so that your new brows fits naturally with your entire face. You’ll be asked to do ridiculous facial expressions (angry face, surprised look, you’ll fake laugh and then laugh for real) to ensure your expressions will look natural. We don’t start until you are completely happy with the shape of your new brows.

SHAPING

We shape your brows to your desired shape by waxing, plucking, and/or shaving techniques. Or expert aestheticians will make sure you are comfortable, safe, and have a set of beautiful eyebrows.

TINTING

Brow tinting is the process of staining the skin beneath the hairs. Henna is plant-derived containing no harsh chemicals. Lasting up to 2 weeks. It is the perfect way to try out a shape before committing to semi-permanent makeup, or if you just want your eyebrows shaped and filled temporarily.

This part is the beginning of caring for your new brows by following the After Care to ensure proper healing. After the healing process, you get to go out and SLAY with your newly enhanced brow game. Sleep in a little longer. And when your partner asks you when you’ll be ready, you can give a more accurate time (we all know it takes more than 5 more minutes!) and strut with confidence knowing your brows will be appreciated by other brow queens.

WHAT ARE HENNA BROWS?

Henna brows are a form of eyebrow tinting that is used to stain the skin beneath the brow hairs. The purpose of this is to cast a shadow or create an illusion of depth and fullness in the area, visually filling in any sparseness. Henna is a natural dye made from a plant known as hina or the henna tree.

HOW LONG DOES THE TREATMENT TAKE?

A consultation takes place before the treatment, which will cover your desired/recommended shape, henna colour and aftercare instructions. The total treatment takes 30-45 minutes.

COULD I HAVE A REACTION TO THE HENNA?

Allergic reactions are extremely rare. If an allergic reaction happens it can either show after 2 weeks. If you are concerned or a highly allergic individual a patch test may be arranged upon request.

AFTERCARE FOR HENNA BROWS

Henna Brows Aftercare –
- Avoid sunbathing for 24 hours, as this can cause the tint to fade
- Avoid swimming/saunas for at least 24 hours after your treatment
- Avoid perfumed products for at least 24 hours after your treatment
- Please note that oil based make up remover can cause the tint to fade quicker
- Avoic washing your brows with water otherwise these will reduce the henna quicker

HOW LONG DO HENNA BROWS LAST?

The results of henna brows may last up to 2 weeks on the skin and 4-6 weeks on the hair. This depends on your skin type. If you have a dryer complexion, henna brows will tend to last a bit longer than they would on someone with an oily complexion.
